Equity Through Eligibility Fund
Launched April 2026
Transmogrify Cape Cod has secured private funding to establish two initiatives: small grants for newly transmogrified business owners seeking to leverage their updated identity for business expansion, and coaching stipends for individuals navigating the self-ID documentation process.
Eligibility: Must have completed a Transmogrifier session. Must self-identify as a Person of Color (as of the date of application). No documentation of prior racial identity required or requested.
The Transmogrified Business Directory
An extensive Cape Cod-wide transmogrified business directory developed by Transmogrify Cape Cod. The directory offers listing and verification exclusively for transmogrified-owned businesses.
Identity Transition Coaching
One-on-one coaching with a certified Identity Transition Coach. Sessions cover:
- Selecting the optimal racial identity for your business sector
- Developing a “lived experience” narrative
- Navigating the self-ID process on government forms
- Preparing for networking events in your new community
- Cultural basics (optional, 60-minute add-on)
First session free. Subsequent sessions $75/hour or covered by your new minority business development grant.
Transmogrifier™ Kit Program
Can’t make it to a workshop? We ship Transmogrifier kits directly to your home.
Kit includes:
- One (1) corrugated cardboard box (48” × 36” × 36”)
- One (1) permanent marker (for labeling)
- One (1) paper plate with brass fastener (dial)
- One (1) instruction sheet
- One (1) Certificate of Transmogrification (suitable for framing)
- One (1) “I Transmogrified” bumper sticker
Cost: $49.99 (or free with proof of grant application denial)
Self-ID Equity Certification
Upon completion of your transmogrification, you’ll receive our Official Self-ID Equity Certification pin. Wear it proudly at networking events, government offices, and grant application interviews. Available in lapel pin, button, and bumper sticker formats.

The “Multiracial Starter”
- 5-minute Transmogrifier session
- Partial identity transition (visible blending)
- Self-ID as “Multiracial” or “It’s Complicated”
- Basic directory listing
- Access to multiracial-specific grants only
Results may appear “in progress” — this is normal and in some cases strategically advantageous, as it visually supports your transition narrative.
